POSSIBILITIES OF EQT FIBER MATERIAL PRESENTED AT ACADEMIC CONFERENCES
Dr. Munehito Tatsumoto, a professor at the Medical Safety Promotion Center at Dokkyo Medical University Hospital, made an epoch-making attempt to prevent falls by using EQT fiber material that stabilizes the trunk function of patients with reduced trunk function. . In 2018 (12 months), patients admitted to the surgical ward 1 of Dokkyo Medical University Hospital were asked to wear wristbands with EQT fiber material attached to them, and compared with before wearing (2017). As a result, the number of falls and fall rate decreased.

In fiscal year 2018 (12 months), we conducted a survey on patients admitted to the surgical ward 1 of Dokkyo Medical University Hospital, asking them to wear a wristband with EQT fiber material attached and spend their hospital stay.
In contrast to the figures in 2017, there was a noticeable decrease in both the frequency and rate of falls. Our observations indicate that the utilization of EQT fiber material, which enhances trunk stability, has the potential to reduce fall incidents and contribute to an extension of overall healthy lifespan.
