Dr. Munehito Tatsumoto, a professor at the Medical Safety Promotion Center at Dokkyo Medical University Hospital, made an epoch-making attempt to prevent falls by using EQT fiber material that stabilizes the trunk function of patients with reduced trunk function. In 2018 (12 months), patients admitted to the surgical ward 1 of Dokkyo Medical University Hospital were asked to wear wristbands with EQT fiber material attached to them, and compared with before wearing (2017). As a result, the number of falls and fall rate decreased.
